Day 2: Bujumbura City Tour The city tour will introduce you to the livelihood in Bujumbura city.

The trip will involve visiting historic sites, market, art gallery, museums and boat ride in lake Tanganyika. The tour will also introduce you to the local restaurants for you to enjoy local food and get to know more about the city. Dinner and overnight at your Hotel.

Day 3: Rusizi National Park Breakfast and departure from your Hotel at 8:00 am and proceed with Rusizi NP and boat trip on Rusizi river/Lake Tanganyika to see hippos and crocodiles. After that, proceed with a guided city tour of Bujumbura (important sights in and around the capital city). Meals and overnight at Kiriri Garden Hotel. Main

Day 4: Kibira National Park and Gitega Breakfast and departure early morning from your Hotel for transfer to Kibira NP to do chimpanzee trekking. Gishora Drum Sanctuary and Gitega follows where you will enjoy the best drum sanctuary in the world. Lunch in Gitega and Back to Bujumbura. Dinner and overnight at your Hotel. Day 5: Transfer to DRC Breakfast and check out from your Hotel for transfer to DRC, Travel across the border to DRC. In the afternoon a guided Bukavu city tour where you will be able to see the city and its surrounding views of the Lake. Lunch in Bukavu town, dinner and overnight at Orchids Safari Club-Bukavu.

Day 6: Gorilla Trekking Experience Breakfast and departure from the lodge and proceed to the park offices for briefing and departure for lowland Gorilla trek. This experience involves encounter of Eastern Lowland Gorillas in their natural habitat where you will be guided with park guides and rangers to this once in lifetime experience. When it’s done, you will drive back to Bukavu, Meals and overnight your lodge.

Day 7: Transfer back to Bujumbura drop off at the airport Depending on the time of your flight, you will have a relaxed morning starting with breakfast. After, check out from your Hotel and departure back to Burundi. On arrival to Bujumbura, you may check again to the market to see if you may buy more souvenirs. Then after, have lunch and departure to the airport, drop off at Bujumbura International Airport- End of the tour.
